Celebrities react to reports of Kanye West’s hospitalization
When reports went out that Kanye West had been hospitalized Monday -- shortly after canceling the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo tour -- many stars were quick to offer their well-wishes.
Law enforcement and emergency services sources confirmed that they responded to a call in Los Angeles at around 1:20 p.m. Monday that was believed to be in relation to West, who is reportedly in the hospital on a psychiatric hold.
“Upon our arrival the disturbance call became a medical emergency only where LAFD responded,” an LAPD spokesman said. “Our job was done there and they took over the medical emergency.”
Across social media, celebrities generally looked to offer support -- though some couldn’t help bringing up West’s recent assertion that he would’ve voted for Donald Trump.
