#CBSMillennials: What is most important to you in this election?

In the contest between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, two of the most unpopular candidates in the history of presidential elections, much of the focus has been on rhetoric and controversy, not policy.

Despite the contentious campaign season, major issues impacting the future of the country are at stake, from the fate of Obamacare and the balance of the Supreme Court to the United States’ place as a global leader.

CBS News wants to hear from the voters who will feel the impact of the election the longest: Millennials, the 18-to-35-year-olds who will be a key voting bloc on Nov. 8. What are the issues that matter to you in this election?

If you live in a battleground state (CO, FL, IA, MI, NV, NH, NC, OH, PA, VA, WI), send us a video, no more than one minute long, with your story, what concerns you most about the future of the country and the issues that personally affect you.

There are four ways to submit:

  • Post a video on Instagram with the hashtag #CBSMillennials
  • Post a video on Twitter with the hashtag #CBSMillennials
  • Post a video on Facebook with the hashtag #CBSMillennials
  • Send us an email, with a video link or attachment, to cbsmillennials@gmail.com

Don’t want to send a video? Tweet us your concerns for the future of the country with the hashtag #CBSMillennials.

The deadline is Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
