Cate Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton adopt baby girl

Cate Blanchett's family just got a little bigger.

The Oscar winner and husband Andrew Upton have adopted a baby girl, her rep confirmed Friday to E! News.

No other details, including their daughter's name, were provided.

Blanchett, 45, and her director-screenwriter husband are already parents to three sons -- Dashiell John, 13, Roman Robert, 10, and Ignatius Martin, who turns 7 next month. The couple married in 1997.

The actress will be seen next in Disney's live-action "Cinderella," playing the wicked stepmother opposite Lily James in the title role.
