Time running out for lottery winner to claim huge prize

LOS ANGELES -- Time is running out for a $63 million California Lottery winner.

Authorities say the holder of a SuperLotto Plus ticket bought at a Los Angeles convenience store last August must redeem it at a lottery office by 5 p.m. Thursday.

Otherwise, the winner forfeits the jackpot.

The ticket was sold on Aug. 8 at a 7-Eleven store on Lassen Street in Chatsworth. The winning numbers are: 46-1-33-30-16 and the Meganumber: 24.

The largest unclaimed California Lottery prize in history was $28.5 million. The winning ticket was sold in 2003 in San Lorenzo in Alameda County.
