Ominous message found next to slain couple's bodies

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- An ominous message scrawled at the scene of a double homicide in a Northern California home was left by the killer, a source told CBS San Francisco station KPIX-TV.

"Sorry, my first kill was clumsy," read the message written next to the bodies of San Jose residents Shamima Rabbi and Golam Rabbi. The couple was found murdered in their San Jose home Sunday afternoon.

A source close to the investigation told KPIX-TV that another message written on a wall of the home apparently taunted the couple's children, saying that their mother had begged for her life.

But her pleas for mercy had fallen on deaf ears.

The message also hinted at some kind of secret relationship, suggesting that one can't truly love someone else without telling them or the world.

Investigators have already contacted one son, and an adult son is wanted for questioning, police said.

Investigators do not believe the shooting was random or a hate crime and the suspect or suspects knew the family, according to police.
