Wednesday marks the 70th anniversary of the death of Chicago gangster Al Capone, who died of cardiac arrest at age 48.

       
Thursday is opening day for “Rhymes and Reasons,” an exhibit about the musician John Denver, which runs until mid-September at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Friday is the 50th anniversary of the signing of the international treaty banning the placement of nuclear arms in space.
