Caitlyn Jenner's "I Am Cait" audience drops by half

The second episode of Caitlyn Jenner's eight-part docu-series "I Am Cait" saw its audience cut in half since the E! series premiered the previous Sunday.

The series premiere, which aired on July 26, racked up an audience of 2.73 million viewers tuning in to follow Jenner's journey. The second episode, which aired on Sunday night, averaged 1.3 million viewers, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

That number is lower than the live and same-day viewership totals of any "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" episode.

Including encore airings, the "I Am Cait" premiere cumulatively reached 7.7 million viewers. Jenner's interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's 20/20 in April totaled 16.9 million viewers.
