Burglary suspect "caught napping" in Alabama house
FLORENCE, Ala. -- Authorities in northwest Alabama say a burglar was arrested after deputies found him sleeping in a bedroom of a house.
Police say a neighbor saw a suspicious truck at the house while the homeowner was out of town -- town being Florence, Alabama -- and the neighbor called authorities.
Lauderdale County sheriff's investigator Sgt. Brad Bolton tells the TimesDaily that deputies found Randall Burch dozing in the house he's accused of breaking into Friday night.
Bolton says Burch is charged with burglary and attempted theft.
