Britney Spears postpones shows after stage fall
Britney Spears has postponed performances after hurting her ankle during an on-stage fall earlier this week.
The singer shared the update Thursday on Twitter, revealing that her doctor advised her not to perform this weekend.
Breaks my heart to share this news. After hurting my ankle last night my doctor
has advised me not to perform this weekend #Heartbroken 😢

Spears took a tumble Wednesday night during her "Piece of Me" performance residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood. Video footage from the crowd shows her dancing across the stage before falling to the ground. (You can see it happen at the 1:45-minute mark.)
Afterwards, the 33-year-old pop star told her 41 million Twitter followers she "had a little scare" on stage but was doing OK.
