Body of missing Arkansas realtor found

The body of an Arkansas real estate agent missing since Thursday night has been found, authorities said early Tuesday.

Beverly Carter, 51, who hadn't been seen since she went to show a home in suburban Little Rock, was found in a shallow grave in Pulaski County, the sheriff's office reported.

Aaron M. Lewis, 33, was arrested Monday and charged with kidnapping Carter. That charge will be upgraded to capital murder, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies said Lewis didn't tell them where they could find Carter despite undergoing 12 hours of questioning, and a tip led them to her body.

Carter's husband had reported her missing when she failed to contact him after leaving to show a home to an unknown person Thursday evening.

Deputies say her purse was found in her vehicle outside the home and that the door to the residence was open.
