Body found in lake near long-missing woman's wallet

YPSILANTI TWP., Mich. -- Police say a body has been recovered from a suburban Ann Arbor lake after a passerby discovered the wallet and I.D. of a long-missing woman on the shore, reports CBS Detroit.

Family members say they're "sure" the body is Tonya Jackson, a Ypsilanti Township woman who vanished more than a year ago.

Jackson, 42, disappeared May 3, 2014, after meeting a co-worker for drinks. The lake where the body was found early Thursday is about a mile from where Jackson lived. Police had reportedly searched the area near the lake after her disappearance, but turned up nothing.

A silver SUV, similar to one the mother of three was driving at the time of her disappearance, was also pulled from the lake, reports the station.

Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to confirm the identity of the body.
