Bob Dylan among David Letterman's final "Late Show" guests
Bob Dylan will be among the final guests on the "Late Show with David Letterman."
The 73-year-old musician will perform Tuesday during Letterman's second-to-last episode, marking his first performance on the "Late Show" in nearly 22 years. The last time he played for Letterman was on Nov. 18, 1993 - during the show's first season on CBS. In February, Dylan released his 36th studio album, "Shadows in the Night."
Letterman has had a slew of celebrities swing by over the past couple of weeks, including Howard Stern and George Clooney.
On Monday, Tom Hanks will appear on the show, marking his 60th appearance with Letterman. Hanks first appeared on "Late Night" on April 4, 1984. That same evening, rocker Eddie Vedder will make a special music performance backed by Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra.
On Tuesday, actor Bill Murray will sit down with the departing late-night host, marking his 44th overall appearance with Letterman.
As for Wednesday's show, viewers can expect memorable highlights, the final Top Ten List and lots of surprises, according to CBS.
Letterman announced last year that he would be retiring from the post. Stephen Colbert will take over hosting duties later this year.
