Bill Cosby show canceled at Arizona casino

An Arizona casino has canceled a planned performance by Bill Cosby amid a growing number of sexual assault allegations against him.

CBS-TV affiliate KOLD in Tucson reports that the Desert Diamond Casino in Sahuarita has cancelled an appearance by the comedian scheduled for Feb. 15.

"We regret any inconvenience to our guests over this cancellation," said Treena Parvello, a spokeswoman for the casino, according to the Tucson Sentinel. Casino representatives didn't give a reason for calling off the show, which was part of Cosby's "Bill Cosby 77" tour.

Those who purchased tickets with a credit card will automatically be refunded, and those who paid in cash can return to get a refund at the casino.

This is the latest in a number of Cosby projects to be scrapped or postponed in the wake of a growing number of sexual assault accusations made against him. Netflix postponed a stand-up comedy special, NBC scrapped a TV series it had in development and TV Land pulled reruns of "The Cosby Show" from its lineup.

Cosby has refused to comment on the charges.
