"Bikini barista" threatened with gun at Calif. coffee shop

MODESTO, Calif. -- Authorities say a Northern California man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he held a gun to the head of a "bikini barista" at a drive-thru coffee shop.

The Modesto Bee reports that the incident happened at Pink Pantherz Espresso, where baristas serve coffee in their bikinis.

Police department spokeswoman Heather Graves says the suspect had been at the business twice on Sunday when he returned a third time with a gun and threatened to kill her.

The victim told the man she had to help another customer on the other side of the window and the suspect left. He then came back a fourth time.

Jorge Carrillo was also arrested on weapons charges and making criminal threats.

Graves said it was unclear why the suspect threatened the woman. It was not immediately known if Carrillo has an attorney.
