Baby born in area hospital seconds before quake hit California
A baby boy was born moments before a magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck the Napa Valley early Sunday morning, reports CBS San Francisco.
The birth took place in Queen of the Valley hospital in Napa, where dozens of people hurt in the temblor were taken.
The newborn's mother is a Napa resident named Connie Navarro.
CBS San Francisco says nurses had to protect the baby from possible injury from falling debris.
The family hasn't decided on a name yet, but the station says one being considered is Ruamoko, said to be a Maori word for earthquake.
