Arrest in murder of California woman found in her car
MONROVIA, Calif. -- Police have arrested the ex-boyfriend of a clothing boutique owner whose body was found in her car in June, reports CBS Los Angeles.
LaJoya McCoy, 31, had been missing for a week before her body was discovered about a mile from her home.
On Thursday, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives arrested her former boyfriend, Jose Roberto Turner, 45, on suspicion of murdering McCoy. He is being held without bail.
McCoy was the mother of two young children.
