Arrest in Houston shooting that injured 2 teens, 2 kids

HUMBLE, TEXAS — A 19-year-old Texas man has been charged in a shooting that left two teens and two children wounded on Sept. 26, reports CBS affiliate KHOU.

Investigators say Timothy Caston was at his home in the Kenswick Meadows subdivision at about 6 p.m. when a group of teens approached and an argument ensued. Caston allegedly got a handgun and shot at the teens.

An 18-year-old man and his 15-year-old sister were grazed by bullets, and two children, ages 6 and 11, suffered leg wounds. The children were across the street from Caston’s home at the time.

None of the victims suffered life threatening injuries.

Witnesses identified Caston as the shooter, and he was later taken into custody. He is charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, according to the officials.

Caston is out of jail after posting a $30,000 bond.
