Cops: Ariz. woman bit off man's ear after breakup

PHOENIX -- Police say a Phoenix woman bit off her ex-boyfriend's ear after they broke up, reports CBS affiliate KPHO.

Anntisha Honwytewa has been charged with aggravated assault and causing permanent disfigurement. Police say Honwytewa and her former boyfriend had just broken up when they began arguing on Jan. 30, at an apartment complex in Glendale, Ariz. She allegedly hit him in the head several times with a closed fist, then bit off his left ear.

Honwytewa defended herself in the interview with KPHO.

"I didn't bite nobody's ear," Honwytewa said.

She also denied the accusations when questioned by police, according to court documents.
