Ariz. police seek teen girl who vanished on Christmas Eve

BUCKEYE, Ariz. - Authorities are searching for a 15-year-old girl who disappeared from her Buckeye, Ariz. home on Christmas Eve.

Police say Leah Costa's mother reported that she ran away with her 17-year-old boyfriend.

Authorities say they found him Saturday night walking along Interstate 10 west of Buckeye. They say he was disoriented and his clothing was torn but he couldn't recall what happened to Costa.

CBS affiliate KPHO reports the boyfriend told police he last saw Costa at the TA Truck Stop at 339th Avenue and I-10. He also reportedly recalled they were at the Burnt Wells Rest Area off I-10 at Milepost 71.

Costa was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, a black tank top, jeans and black shoes. She is described as 5'3" tall and weighs 187 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.
