A source tells People they recently started "to hang out." Vergara and Manganiello first got acquainted at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in May and were photographed together during the event.

Manganiello, 37, recently talked about Vergara, 41, during an interview with People for its Hottest Bachelors issue.

"You're gonna get me in trouble. I don't want to be like a home-wrecker. This person is engaged," he said about Vergara, who parted ways with her fiance, Nick Loeb, in May. "She's got the curves, she's got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. Naturally beautiful. She's feisty!"

The "True Blood" star was recently named People's hottest bachelor.
