Anger towards Donald Trump spreading through Europe

European allies express anger, worry over Trump

LONDON -- From the crowds chanting in the streets to the floor of British Parliament, disenchantment and anger towards President Donald Trump is sweeping through Europe, reports CBS News correspondent Mark Phillips.

Leaders on the continent were already skeptical of Mr. Trump’s commitment to NATO and worried about his support of Britain leaving the EU.

On Tuesday, Donald Tusk, the president of the EU’s most powerful body, even called Mr. Trump’s administration a threat to Europe.

Now, the executive order barring refugees from entering the U.S. and banning citizens of several Muslim countries prompted one member of the UK’s House of Commons to call Trump “wretched” and “bigoted.”
