Andi Dorfman revealed as the new "Bachelorette"

There's a new "Bachelorette" in town.

Andi Dorfman was announced as the newest star of the reality series Monday night during the live "After the Final Rose" special that followed "The Bachelor" finale.

The 26-year-old from Atlanta became a "Bachelor" fan-favorite this season after making it to the final three before telling off Juan Pablo Galavis and walking off the show.

Now, she'll be the one handing out roses.

Dorfman, an assistant district attorney for Fulton County, Ga., said, "I never in a million years thought this would happen to me. I'm nervous, I'm excited. I'm ready to fall in love."

"I am in a place in my life where I am so ready for this," she added. "I'm just excited."

Her season of "The Bachelorette" will premiere May 19 on ABC.
