Amy (Duggar) King opens up on cousin Josh Duggar's scandal

Amy (Duggar) King had an eventful 2015.

The reality star, who is the daughter of Jim Bob Duggar's older sister, recounted all of the ups and downs of the past year that included her own wedding as well as her cousin Josh's scandal.

King finally opened up on her thoughts about Josh's admissions of infidelity and the fact that he had molested minors when he was younger. She wrote about the time on her blog.

"September was a doozie! Life was just wonderful ... drum roll please.... until one of my family members made some terrible confessions," she opened.

King said the revelations were a bombshell to her.

"I knew nothing of the molestation charges, and I had no idea what the Ashley Madison site even was?" she said. "I was completely shocked just like the rest of the world; the only difference was I was being fitted for my wedding dress with tears running down my face and a glass of wine in my hand as the news broke. I wondered what the heck was going on?"

King continued and called her cousin "a fraud."

"A million questions flooded my mind," she wrote. "Rage came over me, sadness crept in, and reality sat in that the person I had known my entire life turned out to be a fraud, and a complete stranger. I've always heard that there were people in this world that lived a double life, but I never thought that someone so close to home would be living a lie."'

King said that her wedding was amazing nonetheless, and that she was happy Anna Duggar (Josh's wife) was still able to attend. However, she did not say anywhere else that she forgives Josh or that she has come to terms with his scandal.

King also addressed her parents' separation and said she still hopes they can work past their issues and forgive each other.
