Amber Alert canceled after NYC girl, 3, found safe

NEW YORK - Police have canceled an Amber Alert that was issued for a 3-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted in New York City, reports CBS New York.

Nina Giblin was reportedly taken around noon Tuesday in East Harlem. The alert was canceled around 3:15 p.m. after the child was found. She is listed in good condition, according to the station.

Authorities were looking for a man named Patrick Giblin in connection with the alleged abduction. CBS New York reports the man is now in custody.

It is unclear how Patrick Giblin is related to the child. Police said he was seen leaving a mental health clinic with the girl.
