Amal Clooney ranked most influential woman in London

George Clooney and his wife are quite the power couple.

The Hollywood actor's new wife, Amal Clooney, recently came in at No. 4 on the U.K. Evening Standard's list of the 20 most influential Londoners, ranking higher than any other woman.

The attorney newlywed beat out some impressive names on the list. Mrs. Clooney was ranked higher than Prince Harry (No. 7) and famed astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who placed at No. 18.

Notable entertainers on the list include Victoria Beckham, who came in at No. 9, singer Kate Bush (No. 16) and actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who rounded out the list in the 20th position.

David Cameron, the prime minister of the United Kingdom, was ranked tenth on the list.

The Clooneys were married on Sept. 27 during a star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy. The couple first announced their engagement in April.
