Adele's credit card declined at California H&M

Adele might be one of the world's highest paid musicians with $20.5 million in earnings in 2015, but that doesn't make her immune to declined credit card transactions.

The singer admitted during a concert that just the other day, on July 31, her credit card was declined at H&M.

Adele was performing in San Jose, California when she told the audience, "I went to H&M and my card got declined. Oh my days, pretty embarrassing. Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified," reports the Mirror.

To make matters worse, she added that her dog embarrassed her even more during her outing.

"My dog tried to claw another dog," she said. "My trip to H&M was great ... but no one knew it was me so I think I'm going to get away with it.

Though Adele is reportedly the U.K.'s richest female musician ever, the singer enjoys bargain shopping and has professed her love for Target before.
