4 people found dead in upstate N.Y. home

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. -- Four people have been found dead at an upstate New York home.

Police in the Albany suburb of Guilderland described the victims as two adults and two children, but would not say if they were looking for a suspect.

"We don't have any reason to believe that anybody would be in danger," Guilderland Police Capt. Curtis Cox told CBS affiliate WRGB.

The house is on a busy commuting route. The initial call to police about a medical emergency at the house was at about 2 p.m. Wednesday.

No information was released about how the victims were killed. Investigators brought in Chinese-speaking interpreters to speak with family members and potential witnesses.

The FBI and New York State Police were assisting local police, who were seeking a warrant to search the house.
