3 little pigs make debut at New York zoo

NEW YORK -- Three adorable little pigs are making their debut at the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn.

The Juliana pigs are the smallest breed of miniature pig. They weigh no more than 65 pounds when fully grown.

Zoo officials say the two male and female piglets are siblings.

They're white with some black spots. They're also known as miniature painted pigs.

They are known for their wonderful disposition, curiosity and intelligence.

They are housed in an exhibit along with the zoo's goats, sheep, chickens and other domestic animals.

It is the first time that the Brooklyn zoo has shown pigs of any variety.
