3 found slain inside South Florida home, police say

LAUDERHILL, Fla. -- Police are investigating the deaths of three people found slain inside a South Florida house.

Lauderhill Lt. Greg Solowsky told the Sun-Sentinel that a 911 call reporting the triple homicide came in at 3:08 p.m. Monday. He said it was unclear how long the bodies had been in the home.

Police did not release the victims’ names, ages or genders or the manners in which they were killed.

Solowsky says police have not determined how many suspects are involved or the motive for “this heinous act.”

Two police officers were seen comforting a distraught woman kneeling in the middle of the street near the scene, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

Police are expected to remain at the crime scene into the night.

Lauderhill is located about 6 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale.
