Young Artists Transforming Anoka Pedestrian Tunnel

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Young artists in Anoka are turning an 80-foot pedestrian tunnel into a work of art.

A group called "Young Artists of Anoka" is transforming the tunnel which runs under Main Street along the Rum River.

Anoka High School students in grades 6 to 12 were invited to apply to take part in the project.

Only 35 students were chosen, based on their ideas, applications and community spirit.
