Minnesota Couple Spends Year In Boundary Waters Wilderness

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- For the past year, Dave and Amy Freeman, of Ely, have been on a journey through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

The Freemans did this because they are concerned about the proposed sulfide-ore copper mining just outside the BWCA.

To learn more about the Freemans' journey – and a documentary about their experience – go to SavetheBoundaryWaters.org.
