Woman ID'd As 1 Of Pair Found Dead In Plymouth Home

MINNEAPOLIS(WCCO) -- One of the people found dead by police in a Plymouth home Monday has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Susan Marie James, 59, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The medical examiner's office says Thursday that the manner of James' death is still under investigation.

James, and one person who has not yet been identified, was found in a home on the 12500 block of 50th Avenue North Monday at about 2 p.m.

Officers initially came to the home on a welfare check because both did not appear at work that morning.

Police say one of the people appeared to have committed suicide, but it is not clear if that person was James.

Plymouth Police are investigating.
