Woman Hit With Hammer, Stabbed; Money Withdrawn From ATM

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A St. Cloud woman was taken to the hospital after being hit with a hammer, stabbed multiple times and threatened with a handgun.

The 31-year-old woman told police from her emergency room bed at the St. Cloud Hospital that she was assaulted by William Tell, 31, of St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Police Department found that Chrishuana Moore, a 29-year-old woman from St. Cloud, used the victim's credit card to withdraw money from an ATM around the time she was assaulted, according to a statement from the department.

Tell and Moore are being held in the Benton Jail and are facing charges of first-, second-degree assault and terroristic threats.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted the St. Cloud Police Department in apprehending Moore and Tell.
