Woman Fatally Hit By Train In Hinckley ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in Pine County have identified the woman who died Wednesday after being hit by a train.

Thirty-six-year-old Erin Story died early Wednesday morning at the railway crossing at Main Street East in Hinckley, the Pine County Sheriff's Office says.

A witness told authorities that Story, who was from Hinckley, tried to run across the tracks as the train was coming and didn't make it.

Officials found her dead at the scene.
