Victim ID'd, Woman Arrested In Fatal St. Paul Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The victim of a fatal shooting in St. Paul was identified Tuesday, hours after police said they took a suspect into custody.

The St. Paul Police Department identified the victim as 20-year-old Randy Malloyd Davis Jr. of North St. Paul. The alleged shooter, identified as a 20-year-old woman from Minneapolis, is currently being held in the Ramsey County Jail.

The suspect was arrested in connection to the incident that occurred Monday morning on the 1000 block of Sims Avenue, which is located on the city's east side.

Davis suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and died at a hospital.
