Police Arrest Woman, 21, In Apple Valley Hit-And-Run

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in the south metro have arrested a suspect in a weekend hit-and-run that left a man hospitalized.

Apple Valley Police Cpt. Nick Francis said 21-year-old Kate Moon was arrested in connection to the hit-and-run early Saturday morning on the 15000 block of Glazier Avenue. She was in custody Monday awaiting possible charges from the county attorney's office.

The victim in the hit-and-run, a 38-year-old man, was hospitalized following the incident. Francis said victim had regained conscicousness and was recovering at Hennepin County Medical Center.

The man is expected to recover from his injuries.
