Woman Accused Of Biting Husband's Ear Off During Argument
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Prosecutors have accused a St. Cloud woman of biting her husband's ear off during an argument over beer.
The St. Cloud Times reports Jamie Elrod faces a first-degree assault charge.
According to a complaint, police responded to an apartment for a domestic dispute on Dec. 18. They found Elrod and her husband, who was missing part of his right ear. The officers found blood and part of his ear on the floor. The man said the couple had been arguing over beer.
It wasn't clear if Elrod has an attorney. The Associated Press tried to reach her at the Stearns County jail by phone on Thursday but jail officials said inmates can't receive calls. No residential listing for Elrod could be found.
