Woman, 70, Dies After Being Hit By Car In St. Cloud

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in St. Cloud said on Monday that a 70-year-old woman who was hit by a car last week has died from her injuries.

The police department sent out a release saying a family member notified authorities that Jean Audry Peters had died.

Peters was hit last Tuesday night while walking across 9th Avenue South. She suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized.

The driver of the car involved was 28-year-old Blair Elise Prokop of Clear Lake.

Police gave no details on what led to the incident, but said that it is under investigation.
