With Longer Season, Bow Hunting Increasing In Popularity

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The firearms deer hunt begins Saturday in Minnesota. But some outdoorsmen and women have found a way to extend the season beyond three weeks.

The firearm season wraps up at the end of November, but the bow hunting season runs through the end of December.

If you are interested in archery as a sport, Average Joe's in Coon Rapids has several leagues for all ages.
