Wisconsin's Walker Appears In Cruz Ad

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker is appearing in a new campaign ad for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz that will begin airing across Wisconsin less than a week before the state's primary.

In the 30-second spot going up Thursday, Walker echoes Cruz's talking points by saying that the election is about jobs, freedom and security. Walker says that Cruz will challenge the status quo, "just like we've done in Wisconsin."

Walker also says that Cruz has a plan to grow jobs and is the only conservative who can beat Democrat Hillary Clinton in the general election.

The ad comes just three days after Walker endorsed Cruz. Walker is expected to appear with Cruz at an event in Milwaukee on Friday night and campaign with him across the state beginning Sunday.
