4 Reported Hurt In Shooting At Wisconsin Building

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Four people have been reportedly shot and injured after a shooting inside an office building in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Middleton authorities also reported the shooter had been killed.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, four people had been shot, none fatally, according to city administrator Mike Davis said. The extent of their injuries was not known.

According to the Dane County Communications Center, dispatch received multiple reports of a shooter in the 1800 block of Deming Way.

One witness who works at WTS Paradigm, a software company in the building, said he heard multiple shots.

The city is about six miles northwest of Madison.

Nearby schools were put on lockdown.
