SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say a Chippewa Falls teen has died from injuries suffered in a snowmobile crash in northwestern Wisconsin.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the crash was reported Saturday morning on a trail in Hawthorne township. The sheriff's office says the crash victim is identified as 17-year-old Joshua Pampuch.

According to the sheriff's office, Pampuch was riding with a group when the snowmobile he was operating left the trail and hit trees.
