Wis. Man Accused Of Shooting Fiancee, Attempting To Kill Officers

GRAFTON, Wis. (AP) — A man in Ozaukee County is accused of shooting his fiancee and trying to kill two police officers.

Grafton police responded to a domestic disturbance Saturday and broke into the house after hearing a gunshot. A criminal complaint says 31-year-old Joseph Damrow shot his fiancee in the leg and shot into a wall. The two officers were on the other side. They were not injured.

Damrow is being held on $150,000 bond. He has been charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, second-degree reckless injury and other counts.
