Wis. Dog Food Company Recalls Products Over Listeria Scare

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Wisconsin pet food maker is recalling some of its products over a Listeria contamination.

Milwaukee-based Stella & Chewy's said the items include chicken, turkey, salmon and goose meals for cats and dogs. Customers can return the product to where they bought it for a refund.

The company said there have been no reported pet or human illnesses.

Listeria can cause serious illness and even death. It starts with flu-like symptoms.
