Winona Boy Becomes Superhero For A Day

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Winona, Minn. had a superhero sighting on Thursday.

Four-year-old Gavin Quimby suffers from leukodystrophy, a non-curable disease that affects his motor skills.

But when Winona needed his help, Super Gavin was there to rescue them.

He got to score a touchdown, put out a fire at the elementary school and track down a purse thief.

After saving the day, Super Gavin was given a key to the city.

A benefit will be held for Gavin and his family on July 26, where a movie of Thursday's fun will be shown.
