Wild's Suter Named To All-Star Game

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Defenseman Ryan Suter has been selected to represent the Minnesota Wild at the NHL All-Star Weekend Jan. 24-25 in Columbus, Ohio.

It is the second All-Star appearance for Suter.

Suter has one goal and 21 assists in 38 games this season for the Wild, the fourth-most points by a Minnesota player.

The 29-year-old also leads the league in ice time, averaging 29:35 per game. Thirteen times he has skated more than 30 minutes.

He is the ninth player to represent the Wild at an All-Star Games, and the first since Mikko Koivu in 2012.
