Wild Will Host Champion Chicago 3 Times, Including Outside

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild will host Stanley Cup champion Chicago three times this season, including their outdoor game Feb. 21.

The NHL schedule was unveiled Thursday.

The Wild start the regular season at Colorado Oct. 8 before facing St. Louis in their Saturday night home opener Oct. 10. Dallas and Winnipeg are the other rivals the Wild will host three times, among their 29 games against the Central Division. The Blackhawks, who ousted the Wild from the playoffs in each of the last three years, will visit Minnesota Oct. 30 and March 29. The game Feb. 21 will be at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota.

The Wild also play six of their last nine games at home, wrapping up the regular season against Calgary April 9.
