Wild Start Western Conference Semifinals At Chicago Friday

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Wild announced Tuesday the schedule for its Western Conference Semifinal series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Game 1 will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Chicago. Game 2 will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, also in Chicago. The series comes back to Xcel Energy Center for Game 3 at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5. Game 4 will be at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.

The times for Games 5, 6 and 7 will be determined as necessary.

The Wild has been knocked out of the playoffs by Chicago each of the past two seasons. Minnesota went 2-3 against Chicago in the regular season, winning the last two games.

The winner of the series will face either Anaheim or Calgary in the Western Conference Finals.
