Wild Announce Playoff Schedule Against Dallas Stars

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Wild is the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs for the Stanley Cup, and they'll face the No. 1-seeded Dallas Stars in the opening round.

The Wild released the full schedule for the series on Sunday. Game one of the series will be in Dallas at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Game two is also in Dallas, set for 7 p.m. Saturday.

The series shifts to St. Paul for Game 3, which will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 18 at Xcel Energy Center. Game 4 will be at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20. If necessary, the series heads back to Dallas for Game 5 on Friday, April 22.

Game 6, if it's necessary, would be back in St. Paul on Sunday, April 24 and the decisive Game 7, if necessary, is set for Tuesday, April 26 in Dallas.

The Wild faced the Stars four times in the regular season, winning once in regulation. The other three were all 4-3 overtime losses.
