Wild Hosting Pregame Party Friday For Game 1

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Wild will host a pregame party Friday before team takes on the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals at United Center.

The event will go from 12 to 1 p.m. at the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis. The puck will drop in Chicago between the Wild and Blackhawks at about 8:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend the event and wear their favorite Wild gear.

Minnesota Wild mascot "Nordy" will be in attendance along with former Wild captain Wes Walz, former Stanley Cup champion Tom Chorske and Fox Sports North analyst Kevin Gorg. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free rally towel and one fan will win a Zach Parise autographed jersey.

Game 2 will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Chicago, and the series comes to Minnesota for Game 3 on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center.
